Flight Instructors

There are many qualified flight instructors out there, and when looking for one there are a few things you’ll want to look for:

• The Federal Aviation Administration, or FFA, controls certification for flight instructors.  Is your instructor a Certificated Flight Instructor, or CFI?  This means they have been authorized by the FAA to give training.
• How much experience do they have both flying and training others to fly?
• Do they have any additional endorsements or certifications?
• Do they seem organized and helpful?  Though it’s simple, your first impression is an important one.

It’s important to take lessons from a safe and reputable flight instructor.
