Airplane Shows

An airplane show is an event that typically features a variety of aircraft being displayed.  If an airplane show doesn’t feature aerial displays, it’s referred to a “static air show”.  However, most major airplane shows will feature aerial displays.  Pilots will show their versatility and that of their craft by performing various stunts, formation flying, and racing in the air.  These types of shows are less safe for spectators, but much more exciting than static air shows.  Organizers of airplane shows understand the risk and take extensive safety measures.  Airplane shows are a great way for people to learn about flight.
