Learn To Fly

So, you want to learn to fly.  Flying is a rewarding and enjoyable experience, and you need to be sure you do it safely.

1. First, find a licensed, reputable flight school or flight instructor.  They should hold a certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration that allows them to give training.
2. After completing several weeks of ground training and completing a written test, you’re reading to complete 30 to 40 hours of flight time with your instructor.
3. Complete a solo flight without an instructor.
4. Complete a final exam with an FAA certified examiner.
5. Congratulations! Receive your private pilot’s license, and start flying!
